Use current FWC sample dates and NOAA respiratory forecast text to understand what Florida red tide forecast pages can and cannot tell you.

If the sample age becomes older than the usual 8-day live sample window, this card will mark the page as outside window and say that no newer matched FWC sample was found. Freshness is based on public FWC sample dates and the static page build time.
What a red tide forecast can answer
FWC sample records tell you where Karenia brevis was observed and what abundance text FWC reported. NOAA respiratory forecasts estimate potential irritation at individual forecast locations and forecast hours. Those are related, but they are not the same measurement.
This page keeps those two layers separate: FWC abundance text stays verbatim, and NOAA forecast text stays verbatim.
